Privacy notice
Last revised 4 October 2026
This notice sets out the personal information ARB Codes gathers through arbcodes.com, the reasons for it, and the choices open to you. The controller is ARB Codes, Aspley House, 36 Hylton Street, Birmingham B18 6HN, United Kingdom. You can reach us at ask@arbcodes.com.
Information we collect
- Enquiries. When you submit the contact form or email us: your name, email, company and country, the service and budget you select, and your message.
- Technical details sent with a form, for example the page it was sent from and your browser type, which help us catch spam and fix faults.
- Visit statistics. Pages viewed, the referring site, country, device and browser type. These are counted without cookies and without identifying you.
How we use it
Enquiry details let us reply, put together a quote and, should you become a client, deliver the work. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us, or taking steps at your request to enter into a contract. Visit statistics show us which pages are useful. We never sell personal information, and we never use it for advertising.
Suppliers who process it for us
- Vercel Inc. hosts the website and supplies privacy-friendly visit statistics.
- Supabase Inc. holds enquiries in a database in London, United Kingdom.
- Resend Inc. sends a copy of every enquiry to our team inbox, and sends you a single email confirming it has arrived.
- IONOS SE hosts our mailbox and handles messages sent to ask@arbcodes.com.
Some of these suppliers, and members of our own team, may access data from outside the UK. When that happens we rely on safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as the International Data Transfer Agreement.
How long it is kept
Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept for up to 24 months and then deleted. Client records are kept for as long as the law requires for contracts and accounts, usually six years.
Your rights
You may ask to see, correct or delete your information, object to how we use it, or ask us to limit that use. Email ask@arbcodes.com and we will reply within one month. If our answer does not satisfy you, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
